AIDS Day

Along with nine others, I spent World AIDS day in London raising awareness of HIV and AIDS and raised money for the Terrance Higgins Trust. Our concept, 'Spread Jam not AIDS' was communicated through our handouts, posters, on the backs of our jumpers and through word of mouth. We handed out red ribbons, red condoms and strawberry jam to those who donated. Dressed as giant pieces of toast, we encouraged people who donated to spread jam (write their name or a message with a red pen) on our toast. This helped us to spread awareness.

In total we raised £1179.79.

DRAWING MACHINE

A one week project in first year to invent a drawing machine in groups. To produce these marks we attached crayons to to the top of a microwave and paper to the turntable. Over different periods of time ranging from 5 seconds to one minute, the crayons melted and formed abstract marks on the paper beneath.
