Fortune

End of year show piece for our 1st year exhibition on Brick Lane. The theme of the show was 'fortune / misfortune'. I was given the theme 'fortune'. My concept was based on the idea that happiness costs a 'fortune' and as 'fortune' is an ambiguous term, it cannot be priced.

Grandma's House

I have always had a huge fear of staying at my Grandma's house because of all the nooks and crannies and tucked away rooms that are full of antiques and old photographs. Through an old film camera, I captured the anxiety and creepiness of her house. (First year self initiated)

Weather

We were given a project brief where we were asked to respond to the theme 'weather'. I decided to focus on rain and how people react to it differently; some hate it and some aren't bothered by it. Whilst observing these reactions, I noticed there was a common 'rain face' that people pulled. In response to this I decided to use a photographic medium to capture their humorous faces.
